- Only real investors. No structured-debt providers or exotic propositions, unless you specifically ask for them. CEOs and CFOs have no time to waste.
- Expectations differ. Investors’ expectations vary with each issuer’s size and equity track record; knowing them in advance avoids disappointments.
- Prepare and adapt. For every firm and every investor you meet: AUM, investment criteria, contact details, LinkedIn or bio, and even a picture.
